In this class, participants are introduced to the idea of seeing marketing as part of evangelism. We’ll cover key topics such as: 1) Why promoting your faith-inspired works is not about self-promotion but about promoting a message of hope, 2) What expectations to have with marketing and media coverage, and 3) Specifics on how both nonfiction and fiction writers can benefit from media coverage. We then do a deep dive into getting publicity coverage for your books and making your pitches media magnets. This class will also show you 4) Key sections you must include in a successful media pitch, 5) Help you identifying radio/TV/podcast shows where your ideal reader congregates, and 3) When and how to reach out to the media.
