The following information is from our 2011 conference. We will update the information for 2012 around the first of the year.
You know first hand the unique opportunities and challenges that present themselves when you lead a ministry in your church for women. You give and serve all year long — now is your chance to get filled back up with encouragement and training. You’ll have the opportunity to attend a Pre-Conference Intensive as well as the women’s ministry leadership track where you’ll learn how to:
- Discover God’s Dream for Your Women’s Ministry Team
- Reach Twenty-Somethings
- Plan Effective Special Events
- Handle Conflict in Ministry
- Become an Extraordinary Leader
If you serve in women’s ministry, we encourage you to attend the Pre-Conference Intensive Leadership Track. Based on the responses we received to our Women in Leadership Survey, the intensive Pre-Conference Leadership Track Breakout Sessions include:
- Little Things That Make a Big Difference in Leadership
- How to Connect with and Care for Your Speaker
- Developing a Dynamic Ministry for Moms
- Reaching Women through Neighborhood Small Groups
Additionally, we have arranged networking opportunities where you will be able to share ideas with women serving in leadership.
Throughout the She Speaks conference, you will find several Breakout Sessions that will further equip and encourage you in leadership, as well as other areas of ministry. Sessions that are specifically appropriate for women serving in leadership include:
- Get Your Armor On: Recognizing and Overcoming Spiritual Warfare
- Determining the Best-Suited Curriculum for Small Groups and Bible Studies
- Preparing for the Battlefield Through Prayer
- Bridging the Gap: How to Build a Multi-Generational Women’s Ministry
- Using Technology to Grow Your Women’s Ministry
- Helping Women Who are Hurting
- Staying Filled Up So You Can Pour Out
Though you have selected the Women’s Ministry Track, you are welcome to attend sessions that were specifically designed for those interested in honing their skills in speaking and/or writing. However, we strongly encourage you to attend the general sessions that are noted for Women’s Ministry Leadership. The information provided during these sessions will prove invaluable. Trust us — you do not want to miss out on what these exceptional women have to share!
In addition to the informative workshops and networking opportunities, you may choose to meet with an editor or publisher during the conference. Information is available to help you make the most of your meeting. Please click here for book proposal requirements.
I am so very excited about the Women’s Ministry Leadership track at this years’ She Speaks conference and I am looking forward to meeting you and partnering with you as we join together to lead women to the heart of God. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Blessings,
Renee Swope
